Nice design. Very minor but acceptable flaws in item as delivered - doors on these samples are not quite symmetric, even after hinge adjustment. Bathstore says - At Bathstore we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us - , but it ranks #103 of the 104 bathroom suppliers listed at TrustPilot . I wish I had checked TrustPilot before accepting my builder's recommendation to buy two new bathrooms from them. I now know why they are so poorly rated. I followed the advice given here by their customer services, not to arrange fitting until at least 7 days after delivery. The items (worth about &amp;pound;2000) were delivered and placed in my front room by the driver and his colleague. All packaging was in good condition and they remained there untouched until my plumber came to fit them. The last item was a mirror cabinet. As soon as he began to open the package, it was clear that the mirror was broken. I immediately reported this to the store in accordance with their instructions, but Clare told me that because it was more than 7 days since delivery, she could not authorize replacement. Her manager would call me in the morning. He had not called by mid-morning, so I called the store and Peter said exactly the same thing and that to escalate my complaint, I should call 08000 232323. Sophie then said the same again, and that if I wanted to take the matter further, I should refer to the store and ask for the issue to be referred to senior management. They all said I should have opened all the boxes immediately on receipt (impractical given that most of the room was taken up by the boxes), but their paperwork says only - we recommend that you examine the goods ... as soon as possible- . All three made it quite clear that they wanted to use the small print to avoid meeting Bathstore's duty to supply goods that were fit for purpose. Their system is designed to have anyone with even a small issue tied up in games of telephone tag instead of solving the problem. This is how a fly-by-night operation behaves, not one that wants to build good customer relationships. I will probably use it as an example next time I give a lecture to management students. It looks like I will have to put the damaged cabinet up for sale on Ebay, or go to small claims court, to get some of my money back. My builder says he will never buy or recommend a client to Bathstore again. For sure, I won't.
