Playtime wet room kit

The Playtime wet room kit is the complete solution for installing a wet room into the average UK bathroom. It comprises a 600 Waste and Trap gulley with a tiled grate (the top part of the waste is tiled to blend in with the rest of the wet room - available for tiles to a max of 10mm thick), a tanking pack for waterproofing the whole area, and wet room floor panels covering a rectangular area of 1400mm by 920mm.

The water gully is installed in the center of this paneled floor area. The unique NOOD odour trap stops the release of bad odours from the drain even when dry. The Playtime 600 Waste and Trap waste has a 50mm horizontal outlet which will drain away 60 litres of water per minute. It also comes with installation kit for joists and a 1 ½ inch waste pipe adapter.

The floor cavity must be at least 135mm. A slim line gulley is available as an extra item (floor cavity of 80mm required – but draining capacity is reduced to 30 litres per minute).
The Twist grate is also available as an extra item – this replaces the tiled grate to give a more conventional appearance. If the floor tiles are thick (between 11mm to 24mm) then the Twist grate should be used instead of the Tiled grate.

The waste pipe runs at a 90˚ angle to the gulley. It should run between the floor joists (under no circumstances cut into the existing floor joists). A side exit gulley with a waste outlet at 180˚ degree to the gulley is available as an extra item.

The kit includes water proof floor panels covering an area of 1400mm by 920mm with the waste gulley in the center. The panels provide peace of mind as a further prevention against leaks.

The kit contains a full tanking pack of lastogum, primer, and flexible tape to cover an area of 8 square meters.
