Shower tanking kit

PCI Lastogum is one of the best quality tanking kits available. It is suitable for all flat or vertical surfaces made of any material. It is simple to use, and is a low-cost product for novices and experts alike.

It provides good protection against water leaking into the plasterboard, which not only damages the plasterboard but will also ultimately damage the tile adhesive.
Contents: 8kg Lastogum, 1 litre primer for timber/plasterboard, 10 metres flex tape, 2 pipe collar.

The pack is sufficient to cover approximately 8m² with two coats. For indoor use on walls and floors in wet areas not directly exposed to pressurised water jets. The tanking pack is part of the Playtime wet room kit.
The tanking pack is also useful to tank ( water proof ) all showering areas, including underneath ceramic or porcelain tiles, as well as underneath conventional shower trays.

We also recommend tanking the floor when installing a shower area over concrete floors or screed. Two coats of the lastogum membrane, will bridge hairline cracks up to 1mm thus making it waterproof (not water resistant).
Please note that because the lastogum is water based all surfaces such as plasterboard and concrete should be primed with the Primer before use. Do not allow primer onto the tray. Always install the tray after priming.
