We’ve put together a few of our favourite songs for the bath, ranging from Pearl Jam to Gene Kelly, and we’re sure there are one or two classics in there for everyone.

Our playlist

Without further ado, here are our picks of the best bath time tunes!

Waterfalls – TLC

A bit of classic 90s R’n’B to really settle you in.

Wade in the Water – Ella Jenkins

Take it easy with this Gospel classic.

Bridge over Troubled Water – Simon and Garfunkel

There won’t be any troubled waters in your bath, just total relaxation.

Under the Sea – Samuel E. Wright

Time for a funky rhythm that will awaken your inner child.

Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head – B. J. Thomas

Note: If this rings true, you may want to get your shower looked at.

Proud Mary – Ike and Tina Turner

Just try to get through this without singing along. We dare you.

Hold Back the River – James Bay

A song that somehow manages to be really soothing and energising at the same time.

Moon River – Andy Williams

Unleash your inner crooner with one of the most velvety songs of all time.

Oceans – Pearl Jam

The bath is the perfect place to listen to a song about surfing.

Cry Me a River – Justin Timberlake

If you want to make it more location-appropriate, ‘bathtub’ has as many syllables as ‘river’. Just saying.

Singin’ in the Rain – Gene Kelly

Caution: Do not try to dance like Gene Kelly whilst in the bath. At least get out first.

River – Emeli Sandé

A gentle ballad to relax you.

The River – Bruce Springsteen

Air harmonicas at the ready.

(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay – Otis Redding

You’ll struggle to find a more feel-good tune than this one. Relax and watch the tide roll away.

Champagne Supernova – Oasis

90s classics don’t come much better than this. The last minute or so might just send you to sleep, though.
