bathstore MSA Statement
bathstore operates a supply chain which sources bathroom related product from the UK, Europe and the Far East. This consists of approximately 60 manufacturers. We are committed to our anti-slavery and trafficking policy, as well as any applicable human rights policies and procedures.
We regularly conduct visits and inspect companies in the supply chain and all factories in China, which we have identified as a higher risk, will have received a visit by a member of the management team during 2015. We will also ask suppliers to warrant that there is no slavery or human trafficking either in their work-force or in the work-forces of their own suppliers. We will be developing structured audits with a focus on MSA and develop appropriate training for all relevant colleagues in the bathstore supply chain team.
Moving forward all companies within the bathstore supply chain will have contractual obligations aimed at ensuring compliance with the MSA and will be required to demonstrate their commitment to ethical working practices. We plan to have this fully implemented by the end of 2017 for our existing suppliers. All new suppliers that we engage in future will have these obligations from day one of a supply agreement.
