For our UK customers, there is now an easy way to pay for your dream bathroom using PaybyFinance, either in monthly instalments with our interest bearing finance or buy now and pay later, where you can defer payments for 12 months.
Our monthly interest bearing packages are quick and straightforward, allowing you to spread the cost of your purchases, totalling over £560, over a period of time that suits you. Buy Now Pay Later is really flexible, pay nothing for 12 months on orders over £1000 - pay what you want, when you want to clear the balance within 48 months. 

You will find our PaybyFinance payment options on our checkout page under payment method. Simply select your preferred option, complete a simple finance application form and pay a deposit of 10%. PaybyFinance options are available online or in any of our stores nationwide.

4. More information about each of the options:

Buy Now Pay Later is the flexible option - you can pay nothing with payments deferred for 12 months when you spend £1000 or more. Payments begin at the end of the deferred period but you can pay what you want when you want. As long as the full balance is paid before the end of the first 12 months, you'll avoid paying any interest. If not, you have the rest of the 48 months to clear the balance. A great option for those unexpected situations!

Interest Bearing options give you the peace of mind of fixed monthly payments - spend £560 or over on any products and choose from our Interest Bearing options. There is 10% deposit to pay and all it takes is a simple application form, you can choose to spread the cost over 12, 24, 36 or 48 months, with an interest rate of just 5.9% APR.

This is an interest bearing loan with interest charged at the given APR. There are no additional arrangement fees. You repay the loan amount and total interest spread equally over the chosen repayment period.

6. Applying for online finance

Applying for online finance couldn't be easier or more convenient. Once you've chosen the products you'd like to purchase, simply complete a brief online application form accessed via the 'checkout'. Just follow the simple instructions, entering your personal details as required and we'll do the rest.

When you buy online from bathstore.com you have the choice of applying for instant finance by adding your purchase to the shopping basket, selecting the option to PaybyFinance, and completing a finance application form. The whole process only takes a few minutes and is simple and secure. Once your finance application is approved, you will receive an e-mail advising you of how to download the finance agreement. Please read this carefully checking that all the details are correct, then either e-sign the agreement, if offered, or print and sign the finance agreement twice. Post the document to the address shown on the finance agreement. Following receipt of your finance agreement and a few additional checks, your goods will be dispatched.

You will see a decision in principle at the end of the checkout process. Your order will either be approved, referred or declined. Sometimes we will need additional information before your application for finance can be approved. If your status shows as referred, further checks will be carried out before your order can be accepted.

You must ensure that you provide a week day, daytime telephone number during your order so that we can contact you to discuss the loan arrangement if necessary.

7. Applying for finance instore

If you are interested in applying for finance in one of our stores, please ask one of our store colleagues. They will be able to assist by explaining the types of finance options we have available.

The store colleague will fill the application out with you instore, ensuring that you read all the salient points of the agreement. Once they have validated your identity they will pass the control of the keyboard to you to e-sign the agreement.

Once your finance application is approved and you have e-signed, all the documents will be emailed to the email address provided, please read this documentation carefully, checking that all the details are correct. After e-signing your finance agreement instore your goods will be dispatched.

How do I choose to pay by finance?

Just select the ‘Finance’ option on our checkout page or let our instore experts know that you're interested in paying by finance.

When do my repayments start?

Your monthly repayments will begin one month after your purchase has been delivered.

Are there any arrangement fees or hidden extras for credit?

There are no arrangement fees or hidden extras.

Once my application is approved, what happens next?

Once you have e-signed your agreement in store and paid your deposit a PDF of your credit agreement will be displayed on screen. You can now agree a date with the store to deliver your goods.

Will you credit score me and if so, what does this mean?

Credit scoring is the process used by financial services companies to evaluate the credit risk of new applicants. This technique will be applied to your application for online finance. Credit scoring works by awarding points for each answer given on the application form such as age, income and occupation, together with information obtained from credit reference agencies. This information allows us to produce consistent decisions, ensuring all our applicants are treated fairly. Credit scoring does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, religion or disability.

If you decline my application, what is the reason?

In addition to credit scoring, we also take into account confirmation of your identity, validation of certain application details, existing commitments and information held at the credit reference agencies. Though we are unable to provide you with a main reason for the decline of your application, it is usually based on one, or a combination of the following:

  • Your credit score (note that every finance company will score you differently)
  • Adverse credit reference agency information
  • You are considered to be overcommitted
  • You are aged under 18
  • Your existing account performance with other lenders

If my application is not successful, can I re-apply?

Yes. We acknowledge that your circumstances change and just because we have refused a previous application, it does not mean that we'll automatically turn down a further request. We do suggest however, that you leave at least 6 months between applications.

If my application is not successful, how can I purchase my goods?

If your application is not successful you can purchase the order using a different payment method.

Can my delivery address differ from my billing address?

If you would like to use PaybyFinance as a payment method your billing address and delivery address will need to be the same.

Can I amend my order or delivery date after I have placed a deposit?

Yes, if you would like to amend your order you will be able to, please contact the store you placed the order with or the assigned store for your online order (see your order confirmation email) – the instore team will be able to assist.

Who is eligible to apply for finance?

To apply for finance, you must be over the age of 18, work at least 16 hours a week, or be retired with an income. You must also be a resident of the United Kingdom and have lived in the UK for the last 12 months or more. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer online finance to residents of Eire. Homemakers aren't excluded from applying under their own names; however we will require the employment details of your spouse in order to process your application.

What type of information do credit reference agencies hold about me?

Some of the information is public information, for example electoral roll, County Court Judgements and bankruptcies. Other lenders may also file information about accounts you hold with them for instance this could include your payment history and outstanding balance on these accounts. Any requests for credit, where a credit reference search has been undertaken, will also be filed, although the result of the request is not recorded.

How do I obtain a copy of this information?

You should send a cheque for £2.00 made payable to the relevant company, together with details of all addresses at which you have lived over the last 6 years:
