The metro deck mounted diverter can be fitted to a bath rim and has three outlets allowing it to divert water between three appliances. Therefore it can be used alongside, either the Metro deck mounted hot and cold valves or any of our Metro wall valves, with a bath filler and either a wall or deck mounted shower head to create an innovative and practical bathing setup. One outlet is ¾“ and used for filling the bath, and the other two are ½“ used for shower heads etc. Most commonly only two outlets are used, with the third capped off with a ½ “ BSP blanking plug.
This Metro diverter has two ¾“ inlets (hot and cold), but can be used with only one inlet for pre-mixed water from a mixer tap
The diverter is 92mm wide. In addition, space must be allowed for fitting the flexible connector hoses. We recommend that the diverter be used with 600mm long flexible connectors, with a ½“ BSP male thread at one end, and either a male or female ½“ BSP thread on the other.
This Metro diverter is manufactured from Virgin Brass so it won’t rust and dipped in chrome for a perfect finish. It is suitable for medium-high water pressure systems min 1 bar pressure. It must be located in the corner of your bath, or on a tap mounting ledge of at least 120mm (such as with our Pool or London baths), and in the opposite corner of the hot/cold valves. We do not recommend the use of this modern deck mounted diverter with our freestanding and steel baths, or with our Soho acrylic bath.
